IAASW Seminar Preview: David Christensen of ZOOM Audits

The Insurance Auditor’s Association of the Southwest (IAASW) will hold its first Louisiana Regional Seminar October 4th and 5th at L’Auberge in Baton Rouge. Ahead of the seminar, Louisiana Comp Blog asked speakers to give us a preview of what attendees can expect from the new event. David Christensen of ZOOM Audits, will discuss communication issues in the modern world of auditing.

OWCA Seeks Comments on Chronic Pain Guideline Draft

The Office of Workers’ Compensation Administration has posted a draft of the updated chronic pain guideline. OWCA Director Sheral Kellar, as well as WCAC Vice-Chair Chuck Davoli, were emphatic at the last WCAC meeting that the Office wants any and all comments to be submitted in this round, before the Notice of Intent is actually filed, so that the process does not have to go through several rounds of public meetings.
