In legislative news:

Senator Mills spoke about the career and accomplishments of Clark Cossé on the Senate floor in the Louisiana Legislature yesterday, as Cossé is retiring from his work in the Legislature. Commending Cossé on his work with both LABI and the Louisiana Hospital Association, Senator Mills led the chamber in a round of applause wishing him a happy retirement. Cossé is also an author of the LABI Workers’ Compensation Desk Book and was instrumental in the legislation that created the Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Corporation. He spoke about the latter and related issues at Louisiana Comp Blog’s March “Comp in Focus” luncheon in New Orleans.
