Six states are suing the United States government over OSHA’s elimination of its electronic injury reporting rule for businesses with 250 or more employees on OSHA Form 300. OSHA reversed the Obama-era regulation citing privacy concerns, but some state attorneys general argue that the electronic reporting lacked personally identifiable information and that the government lacked legal basis for the change.
