At Louisiana Comp Blog‘s April “Comp in Focus” luncheon at Antoine’s in New Orleans yesterday, Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC) attorney Darrick Lee addressed the details of employer fraud enforcement at the agency. Attendees – who represent a variety of stakeholders in the Louisiana workers’ compensation system – debated the effectiveness of LWC’s “compliance first” (as opposed to initial hefty fines) strategy, among other issues, over a meal in the restaurant’s Twelfth Night Room.
