Legal challenges to two of Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin’s appointments to the Oklahoma Workers Compensation Commission have been withdrawn. Prominent Oklahoma City-based workers’ comp attorney Bob Burke and others had filed challenges claiming that the two attorneys, Megan Tilly and Jordan Russell, did not have the required three years of experience in the field to hold positions on the three-member commission. Burke told Tulsa World that he reconsidered his opposition to Tilly’s appointment after meeting with her and others who know her well. The challenge to Russell was filed by Tulsa workers’ comp attorney Cathy Enterline, and was also withdrawn.
