Real average hourly earnings for all employees increased 1.1 percent from December 2017 to December 2018, according to new Bureau of Labor Statistics numbers. The change in real average hourly earnings combined with no change in the average workweek resulted in a 1.2-percent increase in real average weekly earnings over this 12-month period.
