Jobs numbers were revised sharply down yesterday in new figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The Bureau now expects that the economy created 501,000 fewer jobs as of March 2019. Although revisions for this data are common, reports indicate that this is the largest such revision since the Great Recession, which has fed concern about a looming downturn.
