In economic news:

Twenty-four states had statistically significant over-the-year increases in nonfarm payroll employment for the 12 months ended March 2018, according to new Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) numbers. Over the same 12-month period, employment was unchanged in 26 states and the District of Columbia. Louisiana had a small uptick that BLS did not consider statistically significant.
