Roberto Ceniceros, workers’ comp columnist for Risk & Insurance, addressed the possibilities for bundled care in the future of workers’ comp. Ceniceros links Medicare’s efforts to move away from its historical fee for service model to the movement for more bundled care. He explains: “Very few bundled care models have emerged for treating injured workers. Yet workers’ comp experts expect that the bundled payment concept will eventually flow into more treatments for workplace injuries.”
