Louisiana made the list twice for legislative efforts to both generally control medical costs in the workers’ comp system and for the currently filed closed pharmacy formulary bill, (SB256) sponsored by Senator Martiny of Metairie. On the local level, SB256 is one of four bills recently considered at the Governor’s Workers’ Compensation Advisory Council (WCAC) for Louisiana.
