The Baton Rouge Business Report published a profile of Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC) executive director Curt Eysink, as he prepares to officially hands over the reins to his appointed successor Ava Dejoie. Eysink identifies progress in the workers’ comp arena as a major success of his administration during the interview, as well as improving the performance of the state’s unemployment insurance program in federal rankings and simplifying administrative procedures. Dejoie starts in her new position as head of the state’s labor agency today after the inauguration of John Bel Edwards at 11:30 AM in Baton Rouge.
