The University of Louisiana Monroe’s (ULM) Risk Management and Insurance program partnered with the Louisiana Department of Insurance, Division of Diversity and Opportunity, to host and deliver a workshop for insurance agents at the university. The program was attended by more than 60 people, including insurance agents and ULM Risk Management and Insurance students. Sessions included updates on Louisiana’s Insurance Code, plus ethics and “the talent gap” that could make it hard for agencies to perpetuate their business in the coming decades.
