The Louisiana Restaurant Association, (LRA) which also operates a workers’ compensation fund, announced its 2015 presidents yesterday. The association is comprised of nine chapters across the state, each representing a major metropolitan area. Every year, each chapter’s board of directors elects a restaurant owner in its ranks to serve as president. Presidents are responsible for growing the organization, creating opportunities for member businesses and improving the member experience. The New Orleans area president is Duke LoCicero of Café Giovanni. The greater Baton Rouge president is Peter Sclafani of Ruffino’s Restaurant.
