A New Orleans East doctor has pleaded guilty to charges alleging that he ran a pill mill involving millions of doses of oxycodone over the course of about eight months by seeing 70 patients a day. The doctor license was already revoked a year ago, and he faces a mandatory 10 years in prison if U.S. District Judge Carl Barbier in New Orleans accepts the plea deal at a sentencing hearing tentatively set for December 28th.
