AMERISAFE has named a new CEO. The company, which specializes in hazardous industries, announced that G. Janelle Frost, the company’s President and Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed to Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective April 1, 2015. According to a news release issued by the carrier, Frost joined AMERISAFE in 1992 and has served in several positions including Controller, Treasurer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and President.

Allen Bradley, the outgoing CEO, will remain Chairman of the Board and become Executive Chairman. Bradley discusses the leadership transition in the release as follows: “I have told the Board that I have an interest in retiring. I remain committed to the success of AMERISAFE and have agreed to serve as Executive Chairman through September 2016. In this new role, my primary responsibility will be to offer assistance, advice and support to Janelle in her role as Chief Executive Officer.”
