The fourth installment of the six-part 2018 Louisiana Survey, a project of the Reilly Center for Media & Public Affairs at LSU, has revealed that large majorities of Louisianans now believe that women face significant gender discrimination in the workplace. Seventy percent of the 852-person cohort believe women face “a lot” or “some” gender-based discrimination, up from 63 percent last year. Further, 61 percent say women face significant obstacles that make it harder for them to get ahead.
