The DEA reversed an order that halted a Shreveport drug wholesaler’s opioid sales over allegations it failed to report suspiciously large orders by pharmacies for the narcotics. The Justice Department (which oversees the DEA) imposed the suspension on Morris & Dickson Co. on May 2nd. Morris & Dickson immediately disputed the charge, which was found to be unwarranted. The move was the first time under the Trump Administration that the DEA sought to block opioid distribution.
