Local reports indicate that Agriculture Commissioner Mike Strain has met with the LSU Ag Center and has finally cleared the way to plant Louisiana’s first medical marijuana. GB Sciences, the company chosen over a year ago for the growing, and LSU had previously stated that they expected medical marijuana to be available to patients by late this Summer. Now, the date looks closer to November.
