A Metairie man has been sentenced to two years for a scheme in which he operated a “pill mill” clinic. The 44-year-old previously pleaded guilty to using the pre-signed prescription pads of a doctor (his business partner) to prescribe opioids and drugs like Adderall for himself, a girlfriend and a relative. The man’s business partner faces more serious charges and is accused of selling prescriptions for sex and cash.
