Louisiana’s medical marijuana products will not make it to approved pharmacies until at least January of next year, due to a push and pull between the LSU AgCenter, which is growing the product, and state agencies. GB Sciences, the growing partner for the program, must provide samples to the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry. Those samples will not be available until November 1st to give to an independent lab. Still further delays are in store because of changes in regulations that will affect at the AgCenter growing facility.
