Louisiana’s main medical marijuana grower, GB Sciences, says that the state Department of Agriculture’s involvement in testing the products could create conflicts of interest. The Advocate reports that the company is concerned about who they could appeal adverse test results to after the initial round. The statutory regulatory scheme dictates that Louisiana’s medical marijuana is supposed to be tested by an “independent lab.”
