The initial unemployment insurance claims for the week ending November 2nd, 2019 dropped to 1,762 from the previous week’s total of 1,867, according to the Louisiana Workforce Commission. For a comparison, during the week ending November 3rd, 2018, 1,945 initial claims were filed.The four-week moving average of initial claims decreased to 1,873 from the previous week’s average of 1,922.
