In medical news:

A new study published in JAMA which assessed a cohort of injured workers in Tennessee found that four percent of injured workers who never had a previous opioid prescription became long-term opioid users. The study found further that injured workers were 29 times more likely to become long-term opioid users if the initial prescription lasted 20 days or more.
