The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has updated its Opioid Overdose Toolkit. The publication offers information and resources to help first responders, prescribers, patients/families and community members prevent opioid overdose. According to the agency, more than 28,000 people in the United States died from opioid overdose in 2014.
