The 2013 West, Texas fertilizer plant explosion, which killed 15 people and leveled 500 homes, was a criminal act. Officials from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Texas State Fire Marshal’s office announced the finding at a news conference yesterday saying they came to the conclusion after ruling out “all reasonable, accidental and natural causes.”
