The Work Loss Data Institute’s Official Disability Guidelines (ODG) were dropped from the National Guidelines Clearinghouse ( The national clearinghouse catalogs and approves medical guidelines that meet certain standards of evidence-based medicine. ODG was not approved in its most recent iteration because it insufficiently explained the source texts and studies for its “evidence.” According to a WorkCompCentral report, WLDI has been in contact with the National Guidelines Clearinghouse to get ODG re-approved.
