The Work Loss Data Institute’s Official Disability Guidelines (ODG) were dropped from the National Guidelines Clearinghouse (guideline.gov). The national clearinghouse catalogs and approves medical guidelines that meet certain standards of evidence-based medicine. ODG was not approved in its most recent iteration because it insufficiently explained the source texts and studies for its “evidence.” According to a WorkCompCentral report, WLDI has been in contact with the National Guidelines Clearinghouse to get ODG re-approved.
