EHS Today published a new piece on e-scooters and their risks to employers. The author argues that liability for employers comes into play if workers use or are injured by e-scooters in the course of employment. E-scooter injuries are on the rise, as the devices are left on city streets for “chargers” to pick them up at night and because they reach high speeds compared to the pedestrians with which they share sidewalks and roadways.
