In national news:

Reports indicate that the U.S. government intends to take a portion of Oklahoma’s $270 million settlement with Purdue Pharma. The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services wrote a letter to the head of Oklahoma’s Medicaid saying that it has made the determination that it is owed part of the settlement. CMS also stated in the June 12th letter that it was seeking further information and that failure to remit the funds after a final determination is made could result in the withholding of federal funding.
