Endo Pharmaceuticals settled the cases against it originating from two Ohio municipalities for $10 million, plus $1 million worth of donated diabetes and allergy drugs. Ohio had accused Endo of illegally marketing its opioid painkiller Opana and contributing to the state’s opioid crisis. A different, highly anticipated trial in Ohio against a range of pharmaceutical companies will begin in October, regardless of this settlement.
