The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) will hold a meeting addressing retaliation in the workplace that will be open to the public and live tweeted for interested parties to access remotely. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 17th, at 8:30 AM, at the agency headquarters in Washington D.C. Entitled “Retaliation in the Workplace: Causes, Remedies, and Strategies for Prevention,” EEOC staff will live tweet using the @EEOCNews Twitter handle and the hashtag #EEOCmtg. The Commission will hear from invited panelists on why retaliation occurs in the workplace and discuss proactive methods employers can take to prevent such discrimination from occurring.
