A Naples, Florida-based company is facing penalties after a 32- year old construction worker died with no fall protection system in place. In its investigation, OSHA cited the company for one willful and one serious violation. The willful citation was for allowing employees to work from heights up to 19.5 feet without fall protection. The framing company’s failure to provide workers with a training program on workplace safety resulted in a serious violation. Proposed penalties total $53,900.
